Engineered belts

Meeting your special conveyor belt requirements

If a standard product in our range is not suitable for a particular application we can create a composite belt to fulfil your requirements.

Bespoke production

We select the most suitable base belt from rubber or polyurethane timing belts, poly vee belts, fabric-reinforced or transmission belts, and then have the choice of an infinite variety of coverings that can be applied.

Wide selection of covers and designs

The cover range is extensive and includes many different types of rubbers, polyurethanes, and open or closed cell sponges from draw down belts to label applicators. Many of these coverings can then be machine profiled, drilled and slotted to optimise their performance for grip and vacuum. To maintain flexibility of manufacture, many of our coverings are superior jointed however, we can also offer cast products for volume purchasers.

Pillow flight conveyor belts

Packing fruit and vegetables can be a delicate process. Soft fruit and vegetables can be bruised or marked very easily, and in the retail environment the cosmetic characteristics of these products are important because customers will not buy bruised or damaged produce. Many of these products are not uniformly shaped, conveying them from the field to the finished package throughout carries its own unique challenges.

Pillow flight conveyor belting was designed specifically for the handling and processing fruits, vegetables, and other delicate items. Standard flights can have sharp corners, are rigid, and can mark or damage soft foods as they carry them up any incline conveyors. Pillow flights are the exact opposite and will not mark or damage the product being carried. They can be fitted on any belt with any spacings you may require and are ideal for bulk incline applications and or maintaining important spacing requirements.

Longitudinal

These belts are used in transfer systems and my be belts or toothed belts. Our manufacturing quality systems and raw material specifications will minimise production halts, material transport losses or equipment damage. They feature high grip and low noise properties.

Eddy current separator belts

They are used to separate nonferrous materials in situations such as auto recycling, electronics recycling, plastic recycling, glass recycling, foundries, wood recycling, and medical waste recycling. Effective and efficient, they eliminate possible human error on sorting lines.

Punching belts

Used in punching machines or automated lines, our materials are abrasion and cut resistant. A high-quality conveyor system supports good punching and cutting quality. Tough and hard wearing our PVC or polyurethane belts are proven in the most challenging situations.

Sidewall / Flighted conveyor belts

We can fit a standard product such as flat or plastic modular food quality conveyor belts with a flight (also known as cleats), chevron or sidewalls. They prevent product fall back or spill in systems moving at steep or acute angles or at faster speeds. All belts and components can comply with FDA regulations for food processing if required.

Depanner conveyor belts

Our depanner belting is perfect for in-line depanning of all baked products such as bread, buns (baps) and pizza. Food safe and temperature resistant; they're an efficient, reliable and a hygienic solution for bakery companies and made to your specification. Retainer rings can be easily replaced for minimal maintenance downtime.

Round bend

Replacement belts to suit all makes and models are manufactured with an X-Y axis cutting table to ensure perfect accuracy, alignment and fit. We stock a wide range of the required guiding components such as eyelets, rollers, bearings, capstans or sewn beading profiles to complete the package.

Lined

We're one of the few UK companies who can supply printed belts for robotics lines. Consistency, clarity and quality are key to keep automated processes running efficiently. We ensure all conveyor belts have clear, durable markings so they can be easily read by robotic machines to trigger operations.

Conveyor belt wear strips

Metal stamping production lines are an extremely challenging environment for conveyor belts. They encounter chemicals, oils, sharp edges and slicing/cutting actions. We can improve running and reduce downtime by adding a wear strip - any size - onto the belt. We can also add polyurethane V guides to aid more efficient running.

Vacuum conveyor belts

Our vacuum belts are used in many industries and keep flat or lightweight products against the belt during movement or elevation changes. They can be used in systems for food processing, clean rooms, pick and place equipment and joinery products such as doors. Our technical sales team are available to audit your systems and advise on the best configuration. Any cut outs are done in-house using our CNC machine.

Sealed edge belting

This process prevents oil, grease, water, foreign bodies and bacteria from penetrating the belt and compromising your system. This makes for improved hygiene, longer belt service life and consistent product quality.

Dewatering belting

Our in-house CNC machine can perform a variety of operations and we recently completed drilling out 77,000 slots in a dewatering belt that was 19m long x 2.050m wide. Our YouTube video below shows the machine in action. The slots were cut in one marathon session.
